Murray v Raonic Tennis Betting

Andy Murray will have the great opportunity of moving a step closer to a first Grand Slam title when he takes on Milos Raonic tonight for the fourth round of the 2012 US Open. The British number one, who has already won a junior title at Flushing Meadows, has yet to translate that to a senior victory however bookmakers believe that he will get past world number sixteen Raonic. The Canadian cannot be underestimated as he is a good player however the Scot has had a very fruitful summer reaching the Wimbledon final and winning the Olympic gold medal at London 2012.

He did the struggle a bit with the heat in USA however he looks like he got used to it now and managed to book a place in today's match by beating Feliciano Lopez in the third round. It wasn't a very impressive performance from Murray and you will have to serve much better against Raonic as the Canadian is a big serving and will offer very few chances to break. Raonic is surely one of the rising stars of world tennis however he lacks in experience at this level and I believe that Murray have what it takes to prevail today even though this match may go down to the wire. Back Murray to win 3-2.
